Particles

This ongoing project grew out of developing particle systems in learning tools for Chemistry students. Originally, I was experimenting with ways to draw the student's eye to specific atoms in a chemical reaction. The artistic potential appealed to me immediately, and I've been "painting" with particles ever since.

Each particle is given an atomic number, which determines its behavior and how it interacts with other particles in the system. From simple rules, complex patterns emerge.

Currently running an indiegogo campaign, to travel to Scarborough for upcoming gallery opening.
